After Watching How Gummy Candies Are Really Made, You’ll Never Eat Them Again (Disturbing & Graphic)

Who doesn’t love candies?

However, scientists have confirmed that gummy candies can have adverse effects on your skin and waistline.Gummy worms, gummy bears, peach rings… just name it. Children love these, and so do you.

Pay attention to the terrible conditions in which gummy bears are produced. The other videos show details about the content of black pudding and a rabbit with plums, a traditional Belgian dish.

If that didn’t kill your appetite for them, the following video definitely will!

Alina Kneepkens, a Belgian filmmaker, embarked on a mission to reveal to the world, the dark truth about gummy candies. She filmed the whole production process. Take your time to watch the entire video, paying attention to the horrible conditions in which the gummy bears are made.
The video begins with the finished product and runs back to the roots of the candies’ production. You’ll see pig carcasses being torched, skinned, and boiled. Bones, ligaments, and tendons are also used in the production. That’s appetizing, right?
Alina had this to say:

“I got the assignment to direct some reversed audiovisual stories showing the production of some of our food. I saw quite a few slaughter houses and examples of both industrial and artisan food production. A true eye opener. Jelly’ is candy. But only a few people know they’re made of gelatin from the skin of pigs. Sweet?” wrote Alina on her website.

Watch the following video, and think hard before putting another gummy candy in your mouth.
